In early 2010 we tested a short film about a day in the life of used car dealers on YouTube.
In 2 weeks we wrote, shot and edited the below short film:
The car industry loved it and dealers, auctioneers, wholesalers all over the country called to express their appreciation for it’s accuracy, humour and authenticity.
There was clear support for it’s edgy, politically incorrect, Fat Pizza/Housos type humour. But… on the flip side some of the public found it coarse, rude and a little bit offensive.
With the feedback in, we knew we were onto something and had to harness the positive (and negative) feedback to create something car dealers could relate to and the general public would also find entertaining.
